Job Description
We are seeking an experienced equipment rental branch manager to oversee our rental operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to drive sales and achieve operational targets. Responsibilities include managing a team of rental associates, overseeing inventory management, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring excellent customer service. The successful candidate will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining operational procedures, conducting regular inspections, and resolving customer complaints.
From an operational perspective, we strive to be easy to do business with! Equipment rental can be frustrating, and we set out to solve those issues from the beginning. Local rental companies tend to have great customer service but are limited in their equipment availability, while large companies have more equipment, but often lack effective customer service and have issues with accurate billing. We combine the best of both worlds. Our network of ever-growing local equipment rental branches keeps the local rental company customer service and feel, but allows access to equipment from all of our locations. We pride ourselves on providing service within a few hours (rather than days) and on accurate billing.

The Branch Manager has full responsibility for the performance of the branch and manages all branch employees. This means that the Branch Manager needs to be skilled in people leadership, P&L responsibility, and sales management from the people to the customers. Our Branch Managers are true wizards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve operational and revenue goals set by leadership; closely monitor reports and maintain firm control of the Branch’s financial performance.
- Manage and/or contribute to proactive sales prospecting, new customer acquisition and account management of existing customers.
- Communicate vision and set leadership direction for all branch employees.
- Organize process flow and physical space for continuous improvements (sales & business office, work yard, product assets, dispatch, etc.).
- Prioritize workflow and manage day-to-day operation.
- Provide branch employees with a healthy, safe work environment.
- Interview, hire, and manage the performance of all Branch employees.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, vendors, and suppliers.
