Location: - Department: Sales East Hardwood Company, Inc. is looking for a Sales Associate at our Community Lumber location in Swansboro. East Hardwood Company, Inc. is a family-owned, fast paced lumber yard; serving both commercial and residential eastern NC customers for over 85 years, and we now have 5 locations serving Carteret & Onslow counties. This is a career opportunity for the individual who is interested in helping a service-oriented company grow.

The Sales Associate position is a critical role for the Community Lumber store. The position is in charge of smoothly conducting financial transactions related to store sales in person and over the phone. This position requires experience and swiftness in handling all operations. An individual in this position needs to carry out all functions as delegated by the supervising authority or store manager. This position is accountable to assist and greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner. The position will maintain knowledge of current inventory and assist in keeping the store clean and orderly. The position will follow all methods in line with company objectives, strategy, and principles.

Must be available to work on weekends if needed.
