Shop Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Shop Supervisor to join our warehouse team. This team member will report to our Shop Manager and be responsible for overseeing the daily and ongoing tasks and projects in our panel, fabrication and warehouse areas. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of experience in management. Experience with construction or warehouse management a major plus. This person is expected to be hands-on and work side by side with other shop team members.

Job Duties:

· Oversee the daily and weekly tasks within the shop areas and provide daily updates to shop manager

· Complete the work outlined in the plan or list provided by the shop manager.

· Assign and direct work tasks to personnel to meet the requirements of projects

· Alert shop manager in a proactive manner as to any issues with inventory, personnel, tools, equipment, or vehicles which impact the completion of tasks or projects

· Make sure all equipment and tools are in working order

· Provide a list or verify provided list of all tools and material when items return from project sites

· Make sure all pack-outs (project related shipments) and other shipments are accurate, complete, and prepared for shipment per requirements

· Supervise the shop and grounds are maintained in orderly condition.

· Supervise maintenance schedules are completed, and any issues r

· Train employees on standards and procedures within the basics section on their career path plan.

· Recommend measures to increase efficiency of shop and improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.

· Recommend rewards and disciplinary action for shop team members

· Address complaints and resolve problems with help from the shop manager.

Qualifications:

• Management experience: 3+ years
• Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook: Proficient
• Good communication skills, personable, organized
• Reliable, adaptable, and flexible
