Havens Tree Care LLC is a family-owned, full-service tree care company based out of Blanchardville, WI. We are looking for a climbing arborist who is hardworking, self-motivated, enjoys being outdoors in all kinds of weather, and wants to continually learn new skills. If that’s you - let’s connect!

Schedule:

• Tree work all year round. (No Snow Removal)
• 4 day - 10 hour shifts Monday through Thursday. Sometimes Friday, if poor weather earlier in the week.

Responsibilities:

• Load truck with equipment and tools needed for daily jobs, verify equipment is in working order.
• Interact with customers and team members in a kind, professional manner.
• Accurately identify, inspect and assess native and non-native trees.
• Properly prune trees from the ground using a hand saws or pole saws.
• Safely climb, prune and remove trees using modern climbing and rigging equipment.
• Run rigging ropes using various knots to lower cut branches safely to the ground.
• Properly maintain, prepare, and operate all tools and equipment, including chainsaws, chippers, climbing gear, PPE, etc. and report any broken or worn-out tools, equipment, and machinery you discover throughout the workday.
• Cleanup duties such as hauling limbs, raking leaves and debris, and feeding debris into the chipper.
• Perform end of the day duties including accurate recording of hours worked, complete job site reports, inventory materials used, unload and inspect equipment, clean out truck.

Compensation/Benefits:

• $25 - $35 / hr. depending on skills and experience

Requirements:

• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Must be able to climb and work with little to no guidance.
• Must be able to frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, twist, lift, grasp and make repetitive hand movements in the performance of daily duties.
• Must be able to safely and repetitively lift large branches and smaller logs as part of cleanup duties.
• ISA Certified Arborist or Urban Forestry Degree desired but NOT required.
