Fabric/ Material Cutter

Come Join our Fun and Fast-Paced production team of skilled fabric technicians at our El Paso facility. We specialize in Short and Medium production runs as well as prototyping all types of industrial and cleanroom garments. Primarily working with lighter weight fabrics. We are a bi-lingual work environment (English and Spanish).

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing fabrics and cuts.
• Move fabrics to and from stage fabric racks and cuts from cutting table to carts.
• Identify markers on the shelves to cut assigned jobs.
• Prepare finished paperwork of finished cuts to deliver cutting supervisor.
• Operate pallet jacks and dolly to move fabric rolls & cuts.
• Perform and report cycle counts if assigned.
• Comply with all cutting, manufacturing & warehouse safety rules and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent – if available
• 1-5 years of experience working as cutter of fabrics; experience in operating 8” knife cutting machine and Rotary cutter and scissors.
• Certifications if any.
• Must be able to work well in a team.
• Ability to read & write and to follow instructions, and work independently with little guidance.
• Ability to stand and walk during shift; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials.
• English or Spanish or bilingual welcome.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends.
