Faulconer Energy LLC, a well-respected, growing Independent Texas Oil & Gas Company with over 40 years in the industry, has an opportunity for an entry level Roustabout located in our Overton Field Operations in Troup, Texas.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs field wide general construction and project work on all well sites, pipelines and facilities.
• Cleans, paints and performs preventative maintenance on all surface equipment.
• Performs general clean up and housekeeping on oil and gas leases.
• Delivers material and equipment to lease locations as needed.
• Responsible for cutting down and removing trees and bush from well sites or lease roads.
• Mow grass and remove debris on well sites or ROW’s.
• Assists Lease Operators on equipment installation and minor repairs.
• Assists with leak repair on equipment and pipelines.
• Responsible for general yard maintenance of grounds and buildings.
• Performs work in assembling, installing, dismantling and repairing of oilfield equipment.
• Assists with pipeline locate as needed.
• Power wash equipment and tanks as needed.
• Maintains lease site firewalls and performs tank repairs.
• Responsible for performing lease road maintenance and repair.
• Installs fencing and performs fence repair.
• Completes daily work activity report. As part of role development will be trained on Lease Operator responsibilities and may provide relief Lease Operator support when business needs warrant.
• May periodically perform work responsibilities on a rotational schedule that may require duties be performed on the weekend. Due to nature of work may be subject to call out or an “on call” schedule.
• Reports to field Projects/Facilities Coordinator.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of labor experience in construction or maintenance industry.
• Possess general working knowledge of all Oil and Gas surface production equipment.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of wellheads, pipelines and values.
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with supervisor and work team.
• Ability to climb stairs, vessel ladders and work at heights up to 25 feet.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and perform extended manual labor.
• Essential functions to include but not limited to the ability to perform repetitive kneeling, stooping, squatting and standing for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in harsh external environment with cold and hot conditions.
• Demonstrated capability to use basic tools to include but not be limited to hammers, wrenches, shovels, and power tools etc.
• Basic Microsoft Office experience with ability to utilize Internet/E-mail in performance of job responsibilities.
• Desire and ability to learn O&G operations and Lease Operator responsibilities.
• Ability to recognize field safety hazards.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis for any employer without sponsorship.
