Overview:

The Housing Manager is a key manager position who plays a key role in administering housing and transportation for non-local associates. The Housing Manager will coordinate all logistics concerning a non-local associate from pre-arrival, transportation, housing compliance, and departure activities including managing of MasterCorp drivers who transport Associates.  The Housing Manager is responsible for all MasterCorp activities at company-sponsored or company-owned housing. The Housing Manager will also be responsible for the daily activities at the dwelling including inspections, being the housing liaison for the region and actively involved in the eviction process if one shall arise. Successful tracking week rent and security deposits to ensure compliance with the Housing Agreement. Successful review and understand of the P&L statement for the regional housing in the area and be able to critique and provide variance explanations.

Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Associate’s Degree in field related to position or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Minimum of five years of progressive responsibility in housekeeping operations and/or housing/communities management

 

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

  • Language Skills: Effective written and verbal English communication,
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. 
  • Ability to obtain a MasterCorp Driving Permit
  • Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and assemble basic furniture items.
  • Proven ability to use sound judgement when make decisions.
Essential Functions:

  • Create and maintain a detail plan to ensure each arriving and departing resident is guided through the process upon arrival.
  • Ensure each residence is ready upon arrival by having a clean and welcoming arrival.
  • Responsible for weekly inspections of the units to ensure the residences are in good working order, clean and occupants are adhering to the rules and regulations as signed in the housing agreement.
  • Ensure site contractual obligations, company policies, and procedures are followed.
  • Inspire a positive culture at each site/Region and within Division.
  • Pre-Arrival preparation to include pre-inspection of unit, to include FF&E inspection, amenities, etc.
  • Ensure all associates review and sign the “Housing Agreement,” “Associate Housing Rules,” and FF&E list and forward to the appropriate departments.
  • Arrange/provide transportation to and from airport for all non-local associates.
  • Complete weekly housing inspections as outlined in the Associate Housing Rules and ensure compliance of rules, including any documentation or enforcement of rules.
  • Develop and execute and appropriate and affordable transportation plan for all non-local associates to get to and from work and designated shopping venues/outings. In many cases, the Housing Manager will provide transportation and/or oversee the drivers providing transportation.
  • Maintain an up-to-date housing roster of all housing occupants, providing a weekly report to corporate.
  • Work directly with Talent Acquisition on any vacancies that need to be filled in conjunction with designated Regional Director based on business needs.
  • Conduct all pre-departure inspections with departing associates, documenting and addressing any concerns that arise in partnership with Human Resources
