Electrical Engineer III

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• This job requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and five or more years' of work related experience
• Performing work in this job's occupational field requires the application of complex, technical, professional disciplines requiring a four-year degree or equivalent and the extensive, applied use of related concepts, practices and methods
• The primary or most necessary skills required for this job are analytical skills. Other important skills include communication skills, computer skills, leadership, and problem solving skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
• Senior level of proficiency with more than one of the following:
  • radar electronics
  • hardware and software design
  • principles and operations of radar systems
  • RF system/subsystem layout and design
  • RF subsystem assemblies and applications
  • radar analysis and modernization
  • analog/digital signal processing
  • software development for network communication
  • modeling and simulation of physical systems
• This job may assist others as a lead practitioner
• Proficiency in the one or more of the following toolsets preferred:
  • Modeling Software: MATLAB, Simulink
  • Radar Signal and Data Processing Toolsets
  • C++, Python, or other object oriented programming language
  • DIS, HLA, TENA, or other federated simulation standards

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL WITH SCI ELIGIBILITY
