Varian is seeking an SAP Functional Consultant. In this role, you will be involved in leading business sessions to define high level business goals/vision, extract business requirements, software selection, define performance indicators, and architect the solution on various IT platforms.

You are responsible for:

  • Partnering with business groups and Varian IT to deliver IT projects across multiple business units.

  • Working closely with IT Supply Chain Solutions Manager to fulfil defined business goals.

  • Providing project management and solution expertise in the areas of SAP Materials Management (MM), Warehouse Management (WM) with an extensive knowledge on the integration aspects of different business processes.

  • Performing hands on configuration, and customization in SAP supply chain like Materials Management (MM), Warehouse Management (WM), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Plant Maintenance (PM) modules along with exposure of integration with Finance, Sales and Distribution (SD), Project Systems (PS), Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM).

  • Operating closely with business and IT to provide application support and continuous improvements for the applications that are already in production and used extensively for day-to-day operations.

  • Primary focus will be on processes and applications such as: Procurement, Manufacturing and Logistics.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science

  • A minimum of 6 years of industry/IT experience.

  • Experience successfully participated in at least 1 full life cycle end-to-end business transformation projects implementing SAP manufacturing modules.

  • A minimum of 2 years of project management experience leading small to medium scale enterprise projects that requires fundamental change in business practice and automation to deliver significant value to business.

  • Experience conducting requirements analysis, meeting with business owners, superior analytical, evaluative, problem-solving skills and quick learner of new technologies.

Technologies required:

  • SAP Supply Chain

Preferred Skills

  • Prior consulting experience, preferably in a Big 4 environment with exposure to clients/customers in US and Europe.

  • Experience in SAP S/4, Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) would be beneficial.

  • Professional qualification like SAP certification are preferred.

The base pay range for this position is

Min $105,500 - Max $189,800

The pay wage range shown is based on the job posting's primary location. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
