Job Description
RIGHTSTONE IS HIRING! We are looking for Warehouse Worker in Deer Park,TX for 1 year contract position with $19.25/hr pay who will be responsible for picking materials, components and end products and delivering them to production or shipping. Work hours: 11:00AM – 7:30PM Mon – Fri (2nd shift)
Position Overview:
Receives inbound material from outside suppliers and other plants and field locations. Stocks received material, as well as completed products and assemblies from in-house production. Picks materials, components and end products and delivers them to Production or shipping. Prepares component kits for production, fills orders and supplier subcontract parts. Packs material in boxes, crates, shrink wrap and works with shipping department to execute orders on time. In addition, perform cycle counting.
Required Skills:
- The work environment is very fast paced and noisy. It is one of constant movement while performing the duties of this job.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Possess basic written communication skills.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic math.
- Basic PC skills.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- The employee must be able to operate a forklift while loading or unloading freight.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 6+ months related experience
- Ideal candidate will have background in operating forklifts (Order Picker and Swing Reach)
