PURPOSE: The Driver at the site is responsible for transporting the employee to and from the site. The driver must be able to transport employees in a safe manner.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

JOB DUTIES
  • Must pick up patrons and bring them to the site.
  • Must drive patrons from the site to their residences or to the designated pickup/ drop off locations.
  • Must follow all company policies, state laws and federal laws while in this role.
  • Must recognize any electrical or mechanical faults and report those to the employer.
  • Must keep a travel log to record areas traveled to, travel time and working time.
  • Must be familiar with the surrounding highways and roads.
  • Must observe all traffic laws.
  • Must be able to stay completely focused while in this role.
  • Must be able to drive in many different weather conditions.
  • Must be able to properly manage time.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle
  • Must be able to obtain access to the site
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience driving others is preferred.
  • Minimum of (3) years driving required
  • Driver's license required.
  • Clean driving record required.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE

  • Knowledge of how to safely operate a motor vehicle
  • Familiarity with the roads and routes in the area

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The Driver position may be a physically demanding position. While preforming the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to reach with hands and arms. The incumbent is frequently required to use to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls. The incumbent must spend the entire time at work
standing, walking, sitting or lifting heavy objects, operating medium- weight equipment. The incumbent is required to do a great deal of stretching and bending, often in awkward positions. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions. The incumbent must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

MODERATE: Occasionally exposed to changing atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise, fumes, dust, etc.) There are no unusual work environment characteristics associated with performing the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions. Noise exposure levels may be high. Incumbent will be exposed to outdoor weather.
