Electrical Technician

Electrical Maintenance Technician | Lafayette, IN | 1st and 3rd Shift

Aegis Worldwide is currently partnered with a well-known manufacturing company near the Lafayette, IN area that's looking to hire on both 1st and 3rd shift Electrical Technicians. We're looking for candidates who have electrical aptitude and ideally, have experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Pay: up to $37.75 per hour, depending on experience. 1.5x hourly rate for any hours over 8 per day, 2x hourly rate for any Saturdays or Sundays.

Shift(s): 1st shift (7a-3p or 7a-7p) and 3rd shift (7p-7a)

OT: This role will require some OT throughout the week, and some weekend work. Weekends are paid at double time and overtime throughout the week is paid at time and a half.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot inputs and outputs of Allen Bradley PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs.
• Work with industrial voltage of up to 480V, making electrical repairs and replacements.
• Assemble electrical control cabinets and manage components.
• Assist the team with new equipment installation processes.

Requirements:

• Electrical aptitude is required.
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs is required.
• Experience within a manufacturing or industrial setting is required.
