LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

Responsibilities:

* Implements medication policies and procedures and ensures compliance with OASAS 820 Regulations.
* Initiates and coordinates initial referrals with primary medical doctors and mental health providers and assists when necessary.
* Assists with follow-up phone calls and advocacy on the resident’s behalf when necessary.
* Maintains knowledge of the individualized care plan for residents and provides support to the residents according to their care plan.
* Collaborates with other clinical and medical staff members in advocating for residents during Medicaid managed care and insurance company reviews.
* Accurately completes medical documentation for each resident.
* Provides basic First Aid and CPR when necessary and maintains current certifications.
* Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures and treatments.
* Assess patient's general condition and take vital signs and weight.
* Give allergy injections and respond with outlined protocols.
* Assist or give skin testing for environmental allergens, foods, penicillin, and stinging insects
* Blood testing

Required:

* Requires an unrestricted Certification: Licensed Practical Nurse,
* CPR and First Aid Certified
* Must possess a valid driver’s license

Compensation: From $30.00 per hour

*Qualifications:*

COVID-19: All employees must be vaccinated and have had a recent booster if eligible. (Required by State)

Have a current Certification/License in the State you are applying to work in. (Required)

6 months or more of Long-Term Care experience in a Nursing Facility (Required)

Must be able to lift up to 50lbs (Required)
