Join our team at JUSTIN as we prepare for the grand opening of our new state-of-the-art distribution warehouse this Spring! We are hiring a team of Forklift Drivers. The Forklift Driver will be responsible for proper receiving and shipping activities in our warehouse.

This position is based in Paso Robles, CA, and requires on-site presence (Monday - Friday).

Job Description

• Operate highly specialized material handling equipment (i.e., high reach forklift, storage shuttle, RF mobile scanners, etc.) integrated with our Warehouse Management system (WMS) to move, stack, retrieve, load, and ship finished goods
• Safely load and unload pallets of products from our automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS), ensuring proper handling and stacking of supplies and finished goods
• Monitor and control forklift operations through the automated systems, ensuring accurate and efficient movement of products
• Execute tasks related to the movement of inventory using the WMS automated system, including transferring products between facilities
• Support picking and packing processes, transporting pallets to and from designated areas for our Direct-to-Consumer customers
• Adhere to safety protocols specific to the warehouse including awareness of sensors, emergency procedures, and proper interaction with automated equipment
• Effectively communicate with warehouse staff, system operators, and warehouse personnel to coordinate activities that provide On-Time/In-Full shipments
• Participate in training programs specific to the forklift operations as it relates to our warehouse environment and WMS systems
• Support WOW (Way of Work) initiatives in the company's continuous improvement program

Qualifications

• 2+ years of forklift operating experience; forklift certification is desired
• Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate in English; bilingual (English & Spanish) is a plus
• Warehouse management systems experience and the ability to navigate and troubleshoot within the systems
• Strong commitment to safety protocols, particularly those related to automated equipment
• Ability to adapt to the dynamic nature of automated warehouse operations
• Capability to troubleshoot and address issues related to forklift operations within the automated system

pay Range: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills and experience.
