Qualifications:

  • Be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Punctual with an emphasis on attendance

Responsibilities:
  • Greet passengers, accept fare payment, and maintain a safe environment.
  • Properly report all incidents, accidents, mechanical concerns.
  • Drive one of several different buses or company revenue vehicles in a safe, courteous, and reliable manner throughout the contracted service area within a daily assigned time schedule, also maintains a strong attendance record.
  • Performing pre/post trip vehicle inspections as required.
  • Possess a functional knowledge of the demographics of the service area.
  • Other duties as required to ensure a safe and courteous ride for our passengers.
  • Drive and maintain the appearance of the interior of the bus.
  • Stopping at designated points to load and/or unload passengers.
  • May assist in the boarding of passengers using wheelchairs or other mobility aids.
  • Required to properly secure wheelchairs and scooters.
  • Explains rules and regulations to passengers when necessary.
  • Assume any and all other duties assigned.
