As the Director of Medical Surgical Services, you will play a crucial role in providing leadership and strategic direction for our unit. Your responsibilities will include enhancing department performance, developing operational systems to ensure seamless patient flow, facilitating education programs for patients and staff, collaborating with physicians, evaluating new technology and services, coordinating multi-disciplinary patient care conferences, leading research projects, and planning and coordinating activities to achieve facility objectives.

To qualify for this role, you'll need to have an Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Registered Nurse (RN) certification. We also require Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications, which can be obtained within specific timeframes after employment start date.

Our hospital is a 200 plus bed acute care facility located in Seminole County, Florida. We proudly serve the communities of Seminole and West Volusia County and offer a range of services, including cardiovascular care, orthopedics and spine care, robotic surgery, and acute inpatient medical rehabilitation.
