Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian  for a  position at ECU Health l, a member of the ECU Health system.. This 204 bed community hospital is located  ~73 miles northeast of Raleigh and ~ 79 miles southwest of Chesapeake, VA.  Halifax County provides a wealth of outdoor recreational activities. From , a 34 mile man-made lake, and , a 2,300 acre natural wildlife preserve, to golfing and tennis, there is something for everyone to enjoy!  This position can work 1-2 days/week virtually.

 

                                                  $10,000 Sign on Bonus is Available!                 

                        

                           Start with 3 weeks’ vacation and 3 personal days per calendar year!

Reimbursement for Academy dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal!
Money toward continuing education events!
Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually!

 

                              

The successful candidate will:

• provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units;
• critical care experience is preferred
• conduct general outpatient counseling and oncology consults;
• work weekend and holiday rotation providing hospital wide coverage;
• perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays; and
• educate healthcare team member, including physicians and nurses.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)  (Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, this must be a master’s degree)

 

 

Credentials Requirement:

• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
