Staffmark is actively seeking a talented Cabinet Designer in Pomona, CA, to work for a local company that specializes in kitchen and bath cabinets in new construction and apartments.
Pay: $22-$35 per hour (Experience-dependent)
Hours: 1st Shift, Monday-Friday
Job Responsibilities:
- Interpretation of blueprints and cabinet layouts
- Measurement of models and oversight of production, utilizing Cabinet Vision Solid for design purposes
- Management of multiple projects concurrently
- Execution of quality checks on projects and authorization of jobs for production
- Implementation of necessary changes and corrections to existing projects
Qualifications: Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and cabinet layouts. Experience with Cabinet Vision 12 software (experience with 20/20 design software is acceptable). Familiarity with Windows Explorer for file organization. Ability to utilize a browser for research purposes and Microsoft Office programs for documentation. Preferably, experience with AutoCAD, a background in a large manufacturing environment, and knowledge of housing industry construction. Understanding of ADA specifications and kitchen appliance specifications. Knowledge of kitchen and bath cabinet construction, as well as proficiency in computer and software applications.
