DIESEL TECHNICIAN

Truck Country, a Freightliner dealership with 25 locations across the Midwest, has an opening for a heavy-duty diesel truck technician, working for Truck Country, but working at one of our customers in Dixon, IL.

As an integral part of a full-service repair shop, this position's requirements include: preventative maintenance, chassis and engine repair, DOT inspections, and diagnostics.

Ths position involves working at a customer, to handle their repair orders.

Work Monday thru Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Requirements would be an experienced tech with Freightliner and Detroit certifications. Cummins certifications, would be a plus.

Other important qualities are a strong work ethic, exceptional attention to detail, and effective customer service skills. Must be able to work unsupervised, but, yet, be able to get the job completed.
