How you'll make an impact:

As a senior leader you will beaccountable for building and protecting the organization's brand reputation, increasing awareness, and expanding reach. The focus includes evolving organizational key messaging, robust media relations, executive communications for enhanced visibility, creation of impactful PR campaigns, and the ability to evaluate and amplify initiatives aligned with the company's enterprise goals.

You will demonstrate a strong stakeholder engagement across the organization to ensure the global PMI communications approach is relevant and engaging for all audiences, products, and regions, and effectively represents PMI's key thought leadership positions.

You will be part of the Global Marketing leadership team and report to the Chief Marketing Officer.

Essential Duties of the role:

  • Lead team including a focus on growth and development to build capabilities and bench strength.
  • Develop and execute a strategic public relations plan to reach new audiences and expand organizational awareness. Align PR strategies with enterprise initiatives and business priorities and evaluate opportunities for amplification.
  • Take ownership to lead the overall communications vision, strategy, goals, and plan across Marketing and in alignment with business priorities.
  • Conceptualize and lead the execution of innovative PR campaigns aligned with organizational goals. Collaborate with Marketing team members to integrate PR campaigns with broader marketing efforts.
  • Ensure alignment of key messaging, thought leadership reports, and product initiatives across regions; oversee development of toolkits designed to amplify new initiatives.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Proven ability to develop and lead communications and public relations strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to management
  • Extensive experience working with and managing agency relationships and performance
  • Up to date with latest trends and communications best practices
  • Ability to develop, manage, and allocate communications budgets.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and creative thinker.
  • Possess strong leadership and teaming skills and strive for results.
  • Ability to oversee and execute multiple projects, teams, and individuals with a proactive and adaptive mindset.
  • Experience of working in an agile, dynamic, and customer-centric environment
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Possible Travel up to 25% if needed
