Nurse Manager Med Surg - Full-time / Part-time

The Nurse Manager Med-Surg will work for a 300+ bed facility known for both their acute care hospital and rehab center. Administrative responsibilities of the Nurse Manager Med/Surg include overseeing department operations for the medical surgical unit and pediatric area, scheduling, quality assurance, state and federal compliance, updating policy procedures, and managing the department budgets. Additionally, the Nurse Manager Med Surg is a mentor and resource and assists with new hire and continuous staff educational programming and cross collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient care is consistently delivered. Reporting to a Senior Director, the Nurse Manager Med Surg will be supported by an Assistant Nurse Manager, Educators,  Charge Nurses, Registered Nurses, Technicians, and ancillary staff. 

The Nurse Manager Med Surg will be a seasoned nurse, ideally holding previous inpatient leadership experience and a clinical background working in a medical surgical unit.
