Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all stages of project life cycle from initial planning to completion. This role requires a hands-on approach, exceptional management skills, and a deep understanding of the construction process. Our ideal candidate will be a leader, a team player, and will have a proven track record in delivering high-quality construction projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
  • Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
  • Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Meet contractual conditions of performance.
  • Review the work progress on a daily basis.
  • Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
  • Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
  • Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.

Qualifications:
  • Proven working experience in construction management for 3+ years.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
  • Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
  • Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
  • Familiarity with construction management software packages.
  • Ability to plan and see the “big picture”.
  • Competent in conflict and crisis management.
  • Excellent time and project management skills.
  • BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have a strong focus on quality and safety.
