How You'll Make a Difference

PMI maintains the largest global community of project professionals and seeks frequent forms of engagement with the community members via its 300+ local chapters.

You will be responsible for leading data science strategy and execution. Guiding and mentoring 1-2 data scientists. Responsible for owning and driving end-to-end delivery of machine-learning-based solutions to solve business problems in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.

Essential Job Functions

* Drive end-to-end delivery of machine-learning models.

* Manage detailed business requirements and technical specifications.

* Own machine-learning model development cycle (identification and definition of business questions, data preparation and manipulation, model implementation and optimization, and deployment).

* Engage closely with business stakeholders to define and refine quantitative problems, translating business challenges into data-driven solutions.

* Design, implement, and optimize machine learning models, transforming data insights into practical and functional tools that drive value and competitive advantage.

* Collaborate with data engineering and quality teams to establish and maintain necessary infrastructure and data sets.

* Establish monitoring systems to track model performance, detect anomalies, and measure model accuracy.

* Continuously optimize models and algorithms to improve performance, scalability, and efficiency.

What You'll Bring to the Role

* Bachelor's degree in a related field.

* Experience with machine learning techniques (regression, decision trees, random forests, support vector machines, neural networks, K-means, Naive Bayes, etc.).

* Understanding of data marketplace technologies, data modeling, and analytics technology stack.

* Familiarity with scalable model deployment practices and technologies, including containerization (e.g., Docker), orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), cloud platforms, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, monitoring tools, and version control systems.

* Familiarity with monitoring systems implementation to track the performance of deployed models (alerts for model degradation, data drift, etc.)

* Proficiency in programming languages (R, Python, SQL)

* Experience with agile methodologies and technology (ADO, Jira, etc.)

* Proficiency in data extraction, manipulation, transformation, consolidation, querying, analysis, etc.

* Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, leveraging technical and business languages.

* Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Proficiency in the business language for PMI (English)

* Preferred: Experience with Snowpark
