Responsibilities:
Sheet fed Press - KBA Planeta 40" six color with inline coater
- Hanging Plates
- Loading Ink and Paper
- Keeping feeder end of press loaded and running
- Maintenance and cleaning of press
- Physical requirements are heavy lifting, being on feet all day and ability to climb in between cylinders on the press
Bindery Work
- Individual must be willing to do hand bindery work but may also train on small machines.
- Position requires feeding pockets on machine, catching off machine, making boxes, labeling boxes and other bindery functions.
- May learn to run cutter, small folder and various small machines.
- If no machine work is available will do hand bindery work.
Qualifications:
- 1 year experience working on a 40" Lithographic Sheet fed Press is preferred but not required
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude
- Team oriented with good communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Must be flexible to work occasional weekend overtime
