We are seeking a full-time, licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established Rheumatology care centers in Riverview, Sun City Center, and Wesley Chapel, FL. 

We specialize in treating general Rheumatology, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Gout, Lupus, Osteoarthritis, Sjgrens Syndrome, and more. Our philosophy of care is to take a holistic and integrative approach to our patient's health.

Our care centers have 3 Physicians, 1 Advanced Practice Provider, a state-of-the-art Infusion Suite, Specialized labs, Ultrasound, Clinical Trials, and a dedicated staff.

If you are a motivated professional who takes pride in delivering high touch, compassionate care, and building rapport with chronic disease patients in a smaller and intimate setting, we invite you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Examine patients and their medical records
  • Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)
  • Diagnose and Propose treatments for autoimmune and arthritic diseases
  • Prescribe medications as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and schedules
  • Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
  • Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics and prevention
  • Oversee patients overall health and promote good health practices
  • Advance professional knowledge and conduct research

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Rheumatology, Orthopedics, or Primary care preferred
  • Valid Florida Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
  • Master's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Willing to travel to three locations
  • Bilingual - English and Spanish preferred
  • Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
  • Understanding of clinical research principles and practices
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal, and written.
  • Team spirit with a positive attitude, patience and cool headedness
  • Willingness to learn, continue gaining knowledge, and clinical experience
