The Maintenance Planner Ld will plan all work orders by working with the technicians to analyze the basic job steps, determine their relative sequence in the overall job, and identifying parts, materials, tools, competencies, and personnel requirements for each step in the process

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: List the essential job responsibilities in descending order of importance.

1. Document and sustain equipment maintenance procedures, tasks and schedule within CMMS.

2. Organize regular servicing and maintenance of all machinery and equipment.

3. Ensure that tools and equipment are correctly ordered and handled for all maintenance, repair and MRO

4. Document and sustain equipment spare parts inventory in CMMS and physical locations.

5. Lead colleagues on equipment maintenance and troubleshooting efforts

6. Provide project management of other system planners or contractors to develop detailed elements of overall package preparation

8. Follow all safety regulations and norms of functioning.

9. Partner with management to ensure a consistent identifiable maintenance program

10. Maintain spares inventory and min/max replenishment levels for all machines, ancillary equipment and toolroom


Qualifications :

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Education

High School diploma or equivalent.

Relevant Work Experience

At least 3 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic or similar position.

Additional
  • Experience in actively participating in the work flow. Practical not just conceptual experience.
  • Experience in working through details of a problem, overcoming obstacles and reaching a positive and successful solution through mathematical or systematic operations.
  • Physical activities necessary to perform one or more essential functions of the position.
  • Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, lift for extended periods daily
  • Frequently move, lift, carry supplies/equipment up to 50 lbs and may have to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs
  • Must be able to stand for minimum of 8 hours and up to 12 hours for up to 6 days a week
  • Ability to continuously ascend and descend from ladders and stairs, work at heights and/or from a ladder, work from a lying down position, work with your hands above your head.
  • Willing to operate material handling equipment (i.e. fork truck).
  • Write documents and reports using writing instruments and computers
  • Read information, often in small print (drawings)
  • Follow appropriate safety procedures such as Lock Out/Tag Out, Arc Flash, etc. and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while maintaining equipment, and ensure a safe work environment by eliminating potential equipment safety hazards
  • Ability to work overtime and must be available for on-call requests as needed.
