IMEG Corp. is growing, and we'd love to have you join our team! We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Designer in our Ontario, CA office. As a Senior Electrical Designer, you will perform the overall, multi-discipline supervision of assigned projects typically responsible for a large project or a number of small projects with many complex features, directing a staff of engineers and technicians while also obligated to actively bring work into the firm.

Some key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Complete design by discipline for projects of all sizes

  • Make major decisions of design aspects with little input from senior staff

  • Coordinate design, mentor junior team members, and assign duties to design staff

  • Evaluate project staffing requirements, analyze problems, and write reports

  • Attend project meetings, meet with clients, and prepare proposals and presentations

  • Build, maintain, and develop client relationships

Key skills and abilities needed for the position are:

  • Knowledge of all aspects of design techniques, tools, principles, materials, and methods

  • Leadership attributes with the ability to communicate clearly both oral and written

  • Skill in the use of Microsoft programs and BIM software

Education and experience requirements are:

  • Bachelor's degree (Science)

  • A minimum of 7 years of qualifying experience, 8 preferred

  • A minimum of 13 years of qualifying experience without a bachelor's degree

Salary Range: $101,000-$145,000/year. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay will be based on several factors including: experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and stock ownership options. In addition, IMEG Corp. provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
