We are looking for experienced Manufacturing Maintenance Technicians to join our team.

Job Summary:

In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for configuring and operating CNC and manual equipment based on Standard Work Instructions (SWI), part print specifications, and work orders. The primary duties involve routine equipment inspections, dimensional measurements, and the production of parts according to specified production instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, remove, rebuild, and maintain all plant machinery, equipment, and utilities.
  • Manage the removal, unloading, and installation of machinery and equipment in designated plant areas.
  • Plan and layout work, and conduct functional checks on machines after repair or rebuilding to ensure proper operation and adherence to tolerances.
  • Undertake general machining and welding tasks as required.
  • Utilize various hand and power tools, including lathes, mills, welding equipment, and cutting torches.
  • Employ precision measuring instruments such as scales, squares, and micrometers.
  • Operate various lifting equipment and, when necessary, perform maintenance on heating, cooling systems, and pumps.
  • Familiarity with CMMS system and experience with PLCs, robots, presses, punches, cranes, pumps, etc., is considered advantageous.
  • Work autonomously with limited supervision, manage priorities independently, and operate within a Reliability and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) framework.
  • May be tasked with performing electrical repairs as needed.
  • Maintain a secure work environment, adhere to OSHA guidelines, and employ necessary PPE and LOTO procedures.
  • Participate in daily shift meetings, review work orders, and contribute to Kaizen activities for continuous improvement.
  • Uphold 6S workplace organization standards.
  • Fulfill additional duties as dictated by business requirements.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Stay updated on job knowledge through ongoing educational opportunities and by staying abreast of technical publications.
  • Possess knowledge in shop mathematics, applied mechanics, welding, cutting torches, hydraulics, pneumatics, 3-phase electrical systems, VFDs, lean manufacturing techniques, and best maintenance practices.
  • Ability to work from information such as handbook formulas, drawings, sketches, and diagrams.
  • Familiarity with computerized equipment.
  • Prior experience in industrial electrical/electronics within a manufacturing setting.
  • Collaborative team player with a commitment to enhancing overall team performance.
  • Preferred experience with lean manufacturing principles.
  • Demonstrate a consistent commitment to safety protocols and the delivery of quality work.
  • Work efficiently and in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work independently in a team environment, devising new methods and adapting to new conditions.
  • Proficient in handling unusual and difficult tasks where standard methods may not be applicable.
  • Exhibit judgment in making decisions on intricate and complex tasks.
  • Proficiency in the use of personal computers and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Display considerable initiative, judgment, and ingenuity.
  • Willingness to work regular overtime.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift, and carry products and/or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
