**MATERIAL HANDLER - JACKSONVILLE, TX - $13.50/hourly**

**B-SHIFT: 7:00 A.M. to 7:30 P.M.

**MATERIAL HANDLER:**

The Material Handler monitors and improves the efficiency, output, and safety during the manufacturing of Nursery Supplies products by following the companys established standards and company policies and practices.

**Description:**

* Perform all aspects of maintaining proper plastics and colors to blenders and machines.

* Change materials/colors at machines when needed.

* Learn and perform all aspects of maintaining material system and blenders.

* Responsible for keeping work areas clean at all times.

* Takes ownership of equipment/machines

* Participates in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program.

* Work safely, attend monthly safety training classes, follow all company polices and procedures, and wear the required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).

* Performs other tasks as assigned.

**Basic Qualifications:**

* Must have previous forklift Experience

* Read and write English

* Perform basic math skills

* Ability to follow instructions

***Preferred Qualifications:***

* Previous experience working in a plastics manufacturing environment.

**Education and Experience:**

* High school diploma or GED required.

**Physical Requirements:**

* Physically able to perform his or her job with or without special accommodations.

* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
