As a Sr. Production and Engineering Technician at Reliable Robotics, you will be a part of the Production organization and report to the Manufacturing and Supplier Engineering Manager. Responsibilities

As a key member of this team, you'll play a critical role where you are responsible for building, operating, and testing complex systems, including electro-mechanical assemblies, wiring harnesses, components, and subassemblies. You'll also help the Flight and Integration team integrate those systems onto aircraft. You will serve as the last line of defense for ensuring that our safety-critical systems are reliable and compliant and produced to the intended engineering requirements.

Basic Success Criteria

  • 4+ years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly, wire harness build & test, integration, or mechanical assembly experience within a safety critical environment.
  • Experience working in an electro-mechanical manufacturing company, a precision manufacturing company, or a high-volume manufacturing company
  • Experience with torque devices, digital multimeters, FOD prevention methods, inspection tools, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn technical material, interpret and work from drawings, controlled documentation, and processes such as layout drawings, mechanical drawings, assembly procedures/work instructions, schematics, engineering drawings, and master parts lists
  • Ability to proficiently use a PC/Mac, Google Suite, manufacturing execution systems, JIRA, or equivalent tools
  • Ability to lift 25-pound boxes to a height of 3-4 feet, with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Success Criteria

  • Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
  • IPC and/or J-STD certification
  • Electro-mechanical assembly and prototype development experience
  • Experience setting up and running tests and experiments
  • Experience with electrical wiring
  • Soldering experience
  • Familiarity with dimensional inspection of mechanical components

The position will be located at our facility in Mountain View, California. Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time.

The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 to $132,000/annual salary + cash and stock option awards + benefits. At Reliable Robotics, we strive to provide competitive and rewarding compensation based on experience and expertise, as well as market conditions, location, and pay equity.
