What you'll do:
You'll care for patients in a tech-forward, modern clinic and provide comprehensive optometry to patients of all ages and with visual and medical conditions. As an Optometrist at Lincoln City Eye Clinic, you'll be expected to:
- Perform thorough routine eye exams and pre-and-post operative eye exams
- Identify visual alertness, field of vision, and hand-eye coordination
- Diagnose sight problems, such as nearsightedness and color blindness
- Identify and assess eye defects and diseases such as diabetes or liver failure
- Maintain accurate patient medical files using NextGen
- Promote good eye health through patient education
- Record all diagnosis and treatment plans, including transfers and therapeutic prescriptions
The position is part-time, 16 to 24 hours weekly; the practice will consider full-time for the right candidate.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Optometry license in the state of Oregon
- Doctor of optometry degree
- Prefer at least two years of experience as an Optometrist. New graduates considered.
- In-depth knowledge of eye-related disorders and conditions
