Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
The Warehouse Coordinator will perform general labor to support operation requirements as needed to support the warehouse, including but not limited to order entry, compiling and shipping orders, item packaging and assembly along with general maintenance/housekeeping to keep the warehouse clean and organized.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer calls and emails from customers.
- Work independently to compile and ship orders.
- Perform general labor to support operation requirements as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory.
- Pulling and preparing store product orders using an electric riding pallet jack, forklift, and hand-truck for delivery.
- Sweeping, mopping, dusting racks, yard maintenance, building maintenance, etc.
- Process trash removal and corrugated scraps with a compactor.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Expect the work to be very physically demanding with an extremely high focus on your safety and the safety of others.
- Ability to frequently lift, push and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs., and may weigh up to 70 lbs.
- Self-starter with high level of initiative, personal accountability, and a strong sense of urgency.
- Flexibility to accommodate shifting timelines and priorities.
- Must possess and demonstrate superior attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple projects and priorities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with ease, set appropriate priorities, and manage time effectively while paying strict attention to detail.
- Valid Driver's License.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Warehouse background is desirable.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
