Ensures the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, in compliance with the applicable requirements regarding lead time and delivery reliability.

 

Checks incoming goods and ensures that all goods and stocks are stored and recorded according to established procedures.

·      Performs a visual inspection of quality of received goods, for example, through samples

·      Checks whether received goods match the specifications on the receiving document

·      Identifies incorrect or damaged deliveries, improper stacking of products/boxes, or unprocessed orders and reports it to the Operations Manager

·      Splits mixed pallets

·      Applies pallet stickers to pallets

 

Collects orders, prepares them for shipment, and loads the goods. Assists others by following established procedures under supervision.

·      Packs, weighs, and/or labels goods and/or pallets

·      Loads the prepared order onto the truck

·      Performs other common logistics tasks

 

Handles the return process administratively and stores returned goods in the warehouse.

·      Informs sales about the returned goods through a return form

·      Stores returned goods in the warehouse, after contacting sales

·      Returns the defective items to the supplier or prepares for destruction

 

Under supervision, distributes goods and supplies within the location to ensure timely delivery of goods and stocks.

·      Places goods in an orderly and accessible manner in the correct location (preferred location or bulk location) in the warehouse

·      Report irregularities and/or specifics to the Business Office or Logistics team leader

·      Checks inventory items for wear or defects and reports any damage to the team leader

·      Counts inventory items and manually records data or uses a scanner. Checks current versus recorded quantities, quality and availability

 

Operates basic equipment and machines, such as a forklift. Performs routine tasks according to strict, detailed instructions.

 

Follows mandatory work instructions (including use of personal protective equipment) to protect the environment and the well-being of oneself and others.

Educational level
