Plant Operations and Maintenance Manager

As a seasoned Operations and Maintenance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our mission for environmental stewardship during an exciting phase of expansion.

Role: Plant Operations and Maintenance Manager
Salary: 50K to 70K
Bonus: Quarterly and Safety Bonus based upon Performance metrics
Location: Dade City, Fl
Work Schedule: 6:30 A.M to Completion. Monday through SaturdaysThe Role:- Lead the safe, efficient operation of our Resource Recovery facility.
- Manage a diverse team of line supervisors and up to 50 employees, promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Spearhead the start-up of a new recycling processing line, a key component of our expansion.
- Innovate operational strategies for process optimization and efficiency.
- Foster collaboration with other company sites and headquarters
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:- Ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
- Develop operational efficiency strategies.
- Oversee production planning, staffing, and procedural assignments.
- Resolve production or processing issues.
- Report on key performance indicators.Safety and Compliance:- Model and enforce safety practices, maintain safety records, and administer safety programs.
- Manage wastewater treatment operations, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and facility standards.
- Maintenance, Equipment, and Vendor Management:
- Prioritize and oversee equipment maintenance, including the supervision and development of maintenance staff.
- Establish a preventative maintenance program.
- Manage supplier and vendor relationships effectively, including those related to technical and complex wastewater treatment operations.
- Inventory, Quality, and Logistics: Coordinate inventory management, uphold quality standards, and oversee logistics for inbound and outbound products.Financial Management and Data Administration:- Responsibility for Profit and Loss.
- Manage office systems and data entry functions.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's Degree.
Experience: 5+ years in industrial manufacturing, with a focus on recycling or related industries.Skills:- Strong leadership and project management abilities.
- Hands-on experience in maintenance/mechanical repair.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Collaborative skills, with experience in liaising with property owners and wastewater treatment operations.
- Certifications: Lean, Six Sigma, or similar certifications are a plus.Other Requirements:- 5+ years in a supervisory role in an industrial environment.
- Experience with high-volume production management and budget responsibilities.
- Forklift operation experience is beneficial.
