JOB TITLE: Global Platform Manager-Product Marketing-Whole Blood

JOB SUMMARY

The Global Platform Manager has responsibilities for a designated product line platform. The individual operates as the global "go to" leader for the platform and owns issue resolution, platform lifecycle management and strategic development focused on innovating the platform and business model to take share and expand the addressable market. The Global Platform Manager will be tightly aligned the regional teams to ensure best-in-class commercialization and platform growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Own lifecycle management for respective product line from idea generation through product obsolescence.
  • Establish and is held accountable for effective marketing plans, and partner with regional commercial teams for product sales (units, revenue) forecasts, market share/penetration goals, profitability, ASP, product mix, disposable utilization, and/or other key performance indicators.
  • Translate customer needs and problems into product conceptualization, development and enhancement objectives in conjunction with, research & development, operations, regulatory, clinical/scientific affairs, quality and regional commercial teams.
  • Collect and analyze competitor information and market trends. Develope and refine marketing, promotional, and pricing strategies.

Manage assigned product platform which includes awareness of product inventory, manufacturing or quality problems, application issues.

  • Develop and implement the introductory business plans for new products or product enhancements to assure successful launch readiness, proper positioning and go-to-market strategies. Coordinate pre-launch, launch and post-launch activities.
  • Work closely with customers, industry experts, sales and regional marketing to successfully identify business growth opportunities, support tools, and new marketing programs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education

Bachelor's degree or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.

Experience

Minimum 7 years experience

Skills

  • Working knowledge of marketing techniques such as VOC needs analysis, value creation, product positioning, and marketplace dynamics as they relate to product, price, and promotion and strong working knowledge of global sales techniques and market/clinical execution.
  • Critical thinking and the ability to solve problems and develop programs with creativity and good judgment despite incomplete or ambiguous information.
  • Demonstrated leadership and managerial skill in functional alignment and influence.
  • Ability to assess customer needs and market trends within the context of product and business capabilities and the ability to translate this assessment into workable strategy.
  • Requires a thorough understanding of marketplace dynamics as they relate to product, price, promotion, and distribution.
  • Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Target Pay Range:$98,900.00to$123,700.00 -Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base:10.0%
