Office Manager

Responsibilities:

This position is PT Office Manager and PT Peer Recovery Support Specialist

Office Manager Position Description:
Professionally administer all incoming calls. Greet guests and co-workers in a friendly, professional, hospitable manner. Open and close visitor area (locking doors, closing blinds, turning off lights). Type memos, correspondence, report and other documents as assigned by supervisor. Perform a variety of clerical duties. Establish Medical Records on new clients. Completes clerical sections of intake and initial contact forms. Collect fees from clients and input information into computer system. Receives and distributes mail. Monitors office supplies, orders and distributes office supplies. Assist with Physician clerical services as assigned by supervisor. Routes prescriptions to agency clinics as assigned by supervisor. Assist co-worker as assigned by supervisor. All other duties as assigned.

PRSS Position Description:
Facilitate and teach the philosophy to staff and consumers that recovery is possible for everyone. Implement and maintain weekly peer-to-peer support groups.
Advocate on behalf of consumers. Be trained and facilitate committee meetings and groups such as NAMI, Double Trouble, DBSA, WRAP, and Consumer Government. Educate and assist consumers with rights, responsibilities, and appeals. Publicize peer driven events.
Represent CREOKS at state and local meetings and awareness events. Attend weekly staff/treatment team meetings. Assist individuals in attempting to contact and re-engage consumers to treatment. Teach skills to recovery. Support consumers in using a Wellness Recovery Action Plan. Responsible to provide Wellness Services. All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Possession of High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Excellent phone etiquette. Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Punctual.
• Able to work with minimum supervision.
• Should be customer service driven.
• Knowledge of MS office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
• Able to multi-task.
• Professional appearance. Business Casual.
• Must be in recovery for at least one (1) year from mental illness and/or co-occurring disorders. Must have High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to communicate needs to others.
• Ability to share story of recovery to individuals and groups.
• Knowledgeable on mental illnesses and co-occurring disorders.
• Successfully completed the ODMHSAS Recovery Support Provider Training and Test to be credentialed.
• Become a trained facilitator of Double Trouble in Recovery (DTR).
• Become a trained facilitator of Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP).
