Job SummaryWe are seeking a Managing Principal, MEP East, to join our growing team at Introba. This person can work out of our Washington D.C. or Atlanta Office and will be the internal and external MEP leader of the Eastern Region.Responsibilities & QualificationsResponsibilities:
  • Executing and achieving the approved strategic business plan for the East Region, specifically related to performance including sales, profit, and chargeability.

  • Partnering with Sector Leaders to support sales and backlog growth.

  • Participate in high-level pursuits and projects as point of contact.

  • Actively participating in a minimum of one national industry organization along with participating externally via speaking and/or publishing articles and posts to further promote our capabilities and strengths in the Practice (Quarterly).

  • Maintaining relationships, sharing and strategizing how to continually expand capabilities with the Leadership Team in the US.

  • Leading and Managing Practice Leaders, Discipline Managers and Office Directors and regional teams to execute on the approved Strategic Plan and Growth Goals, along with collaborating with the other Regional Managing Leaders within the Practice and Firm.

  • Developing, maintaining, and implementing a succession plan for long term team strength and continuity including mentoring teams into future roles and actively participating in Regional Team Meetings and US Leadership Meetings.

  • Reporting monthly (at minimum) on the regional progress per the strategic plan, performance, key initiative, strategic hiring needs, critical issues, etc. and working with Practice and Sector Leaders for strategic Subject Matter Expert (SME) hiring needs and knowledge development/training.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 15 years of work-related experience in successfully leading teams within an MEP Practice

  • Superior communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skills.

  • Ability to develop, build and maintain long-term client relationships.

  • Demonstrated effectiveness and the ability to work in a high-performance environment.

  • Proven experience leading, managing, growing, and motivating teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to build project budgets, manage teams within the approved budget, and provide analysis.

  • Understand commercial/contract terms and negotiation strategy for providing integrated design services.

  • Travel and work outside of regular office hours may be required.
