Food Handler

Position Summary: The food handler helps prepare the food service area for campers meals.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Help serve meals using appropriate portioning utensils
• Help keep food line stocked as needed during meal service
• Help prepare beverages for availability during meal service
• Assist campers in scraping trays and clearing tables
• Responsible to count and put cold food items away after meal service
• Clean serving line, counters, tables, floors and any other assigned areas
• Fill and set out condiments for each meal as assigned
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

• Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

Computer Skills:

• Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office 365
• Working knowledge of TEAMS and SharePoint
• Willingness to learn new software as needed

Certificates and Licenses:

• Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed
