We are looking for a Senior Manager, Dealer Lifecycle Marketing to lead marketing efforts targeting our existing dealer customer base. This role will be a critical part of the evolving marketing function at Credit Acceptance - leading a team of Marketers to drive greater engagement and loyalty with our core audience. Outcomes and Activities:

  • This position will work from home; occasional planned travel to an assigned Southfield, Michigan office location may be required. However, this position is permitted to work at a Southfield, Michigan office location if requested by the team member.
  • Lead development and execution of a strategic, customer lifecycle-driven marketing agenda to drive business outcomes.
  • Develops and executes an integrated marketing strategy across all email, direct mail, and digital channels.
  • Oversees the development of segmentation and targeted audiences and creates go-to-market plans and business cases for data-driven marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborates internally to build, test, send and track marketing campaignsacross our core key stages - onboarding, growth, and retention.
  • Oversees analyzing audience behavior and marketing campaign effectiveness.
  • Distills data and identifies insights for improvements to engagement marketing programs- driving more apps and contracts through our dealer campaigns.
  • Defines and explores marketing capabilities (new channels, tactics, promotions, etc.) the organization should utilize to increase engagement.
  • Implements team rituals and streamlines operations to ensure timely completion of work and improved visibility for Marketing leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Supports agile rituals - e.g. managing standups, sprint planning.
  • Guides and enhances the career and skill development of direct reports.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Fluent in the economics of our business to understand where marketing creates leverage to drive growth.
  • Can synthesize insights to identify new recommendations to improve marketing and business results.
  • Experience developing efficient and effective end-to-end journey/campaign strategies.
  • Fluent in MarTech with a clear understanding of what capabilities can enable growth.
  • Confident with interpreting analysis and structuring analytical requests.
  • Hypothesis-led and data-driven in all marketing intent.
  • Can break a strategy down into a structured testing plan / learning agenda.
  • Can break a strategy down into an actionable plan that accelerates speed to market.
  • Highly effective communicator who makes complex ideas easy to understand.
  • Self-driven, motivated to help, and able to perform with minimal supervision.
  • Thrives on the opportunity to lead and build in white space, collaborate and drive for results.
  • Is able to structure and sequence highly complex work.
  • Is able to create and operate in a systems level view of marketing.
  • Can write and oversee the team's delivery of clear and concise intent documents, creative briefs, test plans, driving continued performance and optimization against KPIs across channels.
  • Can manage the details of their own and a cross-functional team's multiple projects, deadlines and changing priorities, while maintaining excellent and accurate work.
  • Skilled relationship-builder who can influence internal decision makers with formal recommendations and informal networking.
  • Thoughtful and compassionate leader who is comfortable flexing between strategy and execution - supporting direct reports and colleagues at all levels.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or Quantitative field such as; Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering or equivalent experience in key and knowledge areas.
  • 8+ years of B2B or B2C lifecycle marketing experience in a marketing organization of at least 20.
  • 5+ years of leading marketing teams, including developing talent.
  • 3+ years of experience in product marketing, brand management, or performance marketing.
  • 2+ years of managing owned channels with a user base of 2MM+ users.

Preferred:

  • MBA.
  • 3+ years working with marketing technology platforms and tools.
  • 3+ years of experience in an agile operating model.
  • 3+ years of marketing experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries.
  • 3+ years of consulting experience, including strategy development and storytelling.
  • 5+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.

Targeted Compensation: $160,000 - $200,000 base salary + an annual bonus plan.
