\*\*HYUR Health is looking for experienced Oncology/BMT Registered Nurses interested in local or travel contract opportunities in Cincinnati, OH!!\*\*
Registered Nurse - Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT RN)
Day and Night Shifts available
13 week
36 hour Full Time Contract
MUST HAVE:
BMT experience
Adult oncology experience
Chemotherapy certification
ACLS, BLS
Level 1 Trauma experience ( > 2 years preferred, if not, then 3-5 years in a Level 2 large academic hospital)
OH RN License or Compact/Multistate RN License
Duties:
- Provide direct patient care in a bone marrow transplant unit
- Assess and monitor patients' conditions, including vital signs, lab results, and symptoms
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families about the transplant process, potential side effects, and self-care measures
- Monitor and manage potential complications related to bone marrow transplant, such as graft-versus-host disease or infection
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
