Biller

We are a meat distributor located in Detroit's historic Eastern Market area. We are currently looking for an individual to fill the role of a biller.

Job duties include:

1. Work closely with others to get pick tickets billed out to a customer account.
2. Responsible for generating all customer invoices.
3. Collect and maintain all original, signed invoice copies in customer's file.
4. Be courteous and helpful to all customers and coworkers and obtain immediate assistance for situations needing management involvement.
5. Assist with any administrative duties as needed (filing, mail, payments, etc.).
6. Maintain a level of personal appearance consistent with the standards set by the company.

Qualifications:

• Previous office experience
• Ability to transact with customers in a respectful manner
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
• Punctuality is a must!
• Must be a quick learner
• Must be pleasant and easy to work with

This position is a full-time position 5 days a week with rotating Saturdays (every other Saturday).  There is also the possibility of working on a Sunday if the candidate chooses to.  The position requires a start time of 5:30 am.
