Job Description
Located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, Pine Management, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Porter to join our team. Pine Management, Inc. has over 50 years of experience as owners and operators of multi-family property and we are currently looking to expand the portfolio. At this time, Pine Management, Inc.’s portfolio consists of 38 properties located throughout New York City.
Requirements include:
§ 3+ years experience in custodial services/property maintenance
§ Must adhere precisely to a strict routine maintenance schedule
§ Sweep, mop, and clean hallways, stairwells, windows, lobby, sidewalk, etc
§ Remove garbage/recycling from trash/compactor rooms and prepare for pickup
§ Periodically inspect the building roof and yards for any clogged drains, debris, etc
§ Change light bulbs and ballasts, as necessary
§ During heating season, blow down your boiler 3x per week and drain the “mud leg” on a monthly basis. During non-heating season, blow down your boiler on a weekly basis and drain the “mud leg” on a monthly basis
§ Snow preparation and removal
§ Perform minor repairs as directed by property managers
§ Report required repairs to property managers
§ Other duties as assigned (such as posting notices)
§ Must be able to interact professionally with vendors, employees, and residents
The right candidate should possess the following:
§ 3+ years’ experience in custodial services/property maintenance
NYC Pay Transparency Law: minimum = $16.00/hour / maximum = $22.00/hour
