**Kitting Material Handler - Peckham Inc.**

The Kitting Material Handler will work in a warehouse environment receiving items from delivery trucks and placing items in the appropriate warehouse area. This position will distribute raw materials to Production area per production order while following lot tracking and serialization processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

* Receive finished goods into secure storage area

* Put-away and pulling of serialized parts for production

* Kitting and building of customer shipments

* Use RF scanners and barcode technologies along with Accellos warehouse management software (WMS)

* Pick tickets, serialization travelers and shadow boards to perform the essential duties of this position

* Key in information from stock that is received to produce labels for those items.

* Accuracy is extremely important

* Identify and record series of alpha and numeric characters (and recognize discrepancies) of up to 20 digits.

* Participation in Peckhams safety programs and ergonomic activities is required.

* Other related duties as assigned

EQUIPMENT USED

Fork truck, reach truck, push carts, motorized pallet jacks, hand-held radio frequency units, bar code scanner, and occasional use of computer

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

No prior experience or training required

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers- up to 20 digits. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Must pass kitting assessment with 0 errors.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to carry out instructions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form. Have problem solving ability. Ability to pay close attention to detail.
