**Location:** Waverly, MN

**Hours:** 10:00am - 6:30pm OR 11:00am - 7:30pm Tuesday - Saturday **somewhat flexible depending on event schedules

**Pay:** starts at $17/hr

Meridian Behavioral Health LLC is a leader in behavioral health care and addiction recovery services, with a network of addiction treatment centers throughout Minnesota. Our New Beginnings family is looking for an Alumni Coordinator to help all of those completing our programs stay in touch with a support network. The individual filling this role should already have strong connections with the recovery community and will ideally have prior experience with event planning and marketing.

This is a critical role in building a vibrant, active and engaged Alumni community. This person will be responsible for administrative support and program management. The Alumni Coordinator will be focused on working with a cross-functional team including marketing, the treatment director, and discharge planning leveraging the teams experience and industry best-practices in the development and execution of an Alumni program. The positions scope of responsibilities will include but not be limited to program development and management, discharge planning, database development and management, Alumni inquiries and communications, and event planning and coordination.

**Job Duties:**

* Work closely with the Director and VP of Marketing, Program Director and Discharge Planning leveraging best practices to develop and launch an Alumni program.

* Serves as front-line resource for Alumni inquiries and manages coordination and contact with Alumnus.

* Manages Alumni database

* Plans, coordinates and provides logistical support for Alumni events

* Engages and coordinates speakers for Alumni events/meetings

* Works with discharge planning to coordinate and connect recent graduates with recovery oriented meetings, groups and support

* Assists in publishing quarterly Alumni newsletter, maintains and updates mailing and email lists and Alumni database

* Active in the recovery community

**Job Requirements:**

* Education: High School diploma or equivalent

* 1 year or more experience with event planning preferred

* Proficient in Microsoft Suite

* MN Only: Minimum of one year of freedom from chemical abuse problems.

* Preferred experience: event planning, marketing, strong computer skills (Wordpress, Excel, Word), website management

* Demonstrated relationship building skills

* Self-motivated work ethic

* Excellent organization skills

* Positive, energetic disposition
