The Manhattan location is seeking a ***Material Handler*** to join our team.
If you enjoy working in a team environment who wants to contribute to the overall success of our operations then this is for you. Our material handling crew is critical in the execution of our daily receiving activities, job staging and deliveries. This position is responsible for picking building material orders, staging product, assisting with loading and the safe operation of some power equipment.
**The Material Handler is Responsible for:**
Pull and stage building material products (lumber, cabinets, windows, doors, decking, siding)
Load and unload materials on various truck types (semi, box truck, flat bed)
Assist customers with loading materials.
Correctly complete shipping and inventory documents.
Operate material handling equipment.
Follow all safety procedures and personal protection requirements.
Requirements Knowledge of lumber and building materials.
Prior Forklift operation experience
Permanent authorization to work in the United States.
18 Years or older.
Reliable transportation.
Can lift 50 lbs repetitively/100 lbs. in a team lift.
Follow all PPE requirements.
Availability to work during operating hours, M-F 7a-6p.
