This role is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of Kent Feeds animal feed products to our customers. The driver will be tasked with loading and unloading of bulk product, driving, and pre-trip inspections of equipment. Full-Time or Part-Time availability! Home every night and travel within a 150 mile radius.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Drive short and long distances to deliver feed product to customers on time
•Load and unload product
•Pre-inspection of truck
•Record all deliveries
•Refuel and clean vehicle
•Report road incidents to the dispatcher
•Obeys all traffic laws
•Inspect trucks and record issues
•Follow accident procedures
•Keep an activities log and log hours
•Report mechanical problems to maintenance personnel
•Plan routes using GPS system
•Maintain a positive attitude with customers
•Keep commercial driver license up to date

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
•HS Diploma or GED
•Valid and current Class A CDL
•Knowledge and ability to meet all traffic laws and DOT regulations
•Must pass drug and alcohol pre-employment screening
•Must provide a current MVR and have a clean driving record
•Must provide a current medical certificate
•Dependability
EXPERIENCE:
•Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor -trailer driving experience
•Experience driving straight truck, belt truck and auger truck
•Experience driving in inclement weather conditions
