**KEY AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:**

* Create and develop new menu.

* Ensure food safety issue is highly prioritized and compliance with local government.

* Responsible to quality and consistency of food.

* Make recipes and maintain the food cost of all dishes in menu.

* Control and analyze the food cost, quality, presentation.

* Evaluation of staff working quality and quantity.

* Responsibility of all activities in the kitchen.

* Perform other duties as requested by management.

* Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities

* Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings

* Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortages

* Be fully in charge of hiring, managing and training kitchen staff

* Comply with food safety, kitchen hygiene and sanitation regulations and safety standards.

* Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management

* Outstanding communication and leadership skills

* Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes

* Good understanding of useful computer programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)

* Resolve issues as they arise so that customers continue to receive their orders in a timely manner

* Plan menus and set prices making adjustments as needed based on the availability of ingredients

* Inspect raw and cooked food items to guarantee that the highest quality products are prepared and served to customers

* Collaborate with the general manager and owner to align kitchen operations with the overarching goals of the establishment

* Direct monthly inventory

* Recruit, hire, and train chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff

* Maintain kitchen equipment; cleaning, schedule repairs and additional maintenance as needed

* Education: University/College/High school

* Language: Vietnamese, English
