RESPONSIBILITIES * The RN assists physician in the care and teaching of patients. (Radiation Oncology Division) * Customer Service/Patient Assistance System & Documentation * Telephone Triage QUALIFICATIONS * A valid Florida RN license is required. * Current CPR & BLS certifications are required. (AHA preferred) * Experience in radiation therapy preferred. * Experience with hematology/oncology /radiation oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is preferred. * Ability to assess patient needs and condition is essential. * Must have strong critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. * Fluency in the English language * excellent oral, written communication AND computer skills is required. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook required. * Strong EMR skills needed. #FCS-RN EEOC Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) is committed to helping individuals with disabilities to participate in the workforce and ensure equal opportunity to compete for jobs.
