The Assistant Nurse Manager of Intensive Care Unit ICU will be responsible for supervising staff and the operation and overall flow of the unit on his/her designated shift and will be the role model for all staff.  The Assistant Nurse Manager of Critical Care Unit CCU will be responsible for coordinating unit schedules and staff assignments and participating in the performance appraisal process. 

The Assistant Nurse Manager of Critical Care Unit CCU will be responsible for ensuring staff meet the approved Standards of Practice, for managing assigned personnel and unit activities and for promoting cooperative working relationships with physicians and other health care providers. Provides patient care as needed.  The Assistant Nurse Manager of Intensive Care Unit ICU will be a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame.

The Assistant Nurse Manager of Intensive Care Unit ICU will be the clinical practitioner who coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age of the patient population served. The Assistant Nurse Manager of Critical Care Unit CCU will ensure that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner consistent with the unit's standard of care. The

The Assistant Nurse Manager of Critical Care Unit CCU will be responsible for planning, education, and resource management as it relates to specialty area. The Assistant Nurse Manager of Intensive Care Unit ICU will utilize nursing skills to determine the biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self care and educational needs of the patient/family/significant other to develop, implement and revise the plan of care.
