We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Software Developer to join our team in Hanover, MD. As a Software Developer, you will thrive in an Agile environment, utilizing your expertise in Research, Software Engineering, and Networking to develop mission-critical tools.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Collaborating as a key member of a small multi-disciplinary team, conducting platform research, and implementing solutions in C, C++, and Assembly.

• Supporting unit, component, and system test activities, as well as contributing to readiness reviews and product release cycles.

• Effectively communicating with the technical team, management, and the customer to provide progress updates, share plans, and address potential issues.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with 2+ years of relevant experience.

• Experience in system-level programming or development for embedded systems.

• Proficiency in C/C++ development for x86, PowerPC, MIPS, or ARM architectures.

• Familiarity with signal analysis tools like Wireshark.

• Scripting experience using Python, Ruby, or JavaScript.

• Comfortable working in the Linux operating system.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Development experience using C/C++ for PowerPC, MIPS, or ARM architectures.

• Understanding of reverse engineering using tools such as Ghidra, IDA Pro, or Binary Ninja.

• Experience working in an Agile environment, utilizing the Atlassian suite.

• Basic knowledge of Real-Time Operating Systems like VxWorks, Integrity, eCos, or POSIX-compliant Operating Systems such as Solaris or BSD.

• Fundamental understanding of network programming.

• Familiarity with SVN or GIT version control systems, along with basic Configuration Management principles.

Security Clearance Requirements:

• Active/Current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.

Physical Requirements:

• This position involves primarily sedentary work, including sitting, standing, walking, and talking. Approximately 50% of the time will be spent in a stationary position.

• There may be a need to move about to accomplish tasks or travel between work sites (including customer sites).

• Regular communication with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Accurate information exchange is essential in these situations.

• Work will involve using computers extensively.
